Ufinet attended this event in Panama City, Hard Rock Hotel Megapolis Center, on 7 – 11 October, 2019. Our CCO, Alejandro Coyoy presented a business success case about “Connecting the Unconnected“.

This bi anual event brings together the Internet community of Latin America and the Caribbean. Organized by the Internet Address Registry of Latin America and the Caribbean (LACNIC – Registro de Direcciones de Internet de América Latina y el Caribe), the event is taking place simultaneously with the annual meeting of the Network Operators Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean (LACNOG – Foro de Operadores de Redes de Latinoamérica y el Caribe) at the Hard Rock Hotel Panama, from Monday 7th to Friday 11th October, 2019.

During the event, topics such as Internet evolution, security incidents, IPv6 deployment, routing, technologies for small ISPs, among others, have been addressed. In addition, the Public Policy Forum has been held, a space in which proposals regarding the administration of Internet resources in the region are evaluated.
