Last Wednesday, October 11, #UFINET<\/a> <\/span>Panama, undertook an unusual visit to San Miguel Island (Pearl Archipelago – specifically to the community of La Esmeralda) to bring them something they were eagerly awaiting, the long-awaited #connectivity.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

La Esmeralda is a township in the district of Balboa in the province of Panama, Republic of Panama. The town has 524 inhabitants. <\/p>\n

On this occasion we were joined by friends from EDUPAN, the Ministry of Education, the Yacht Fishing Club and the company Satelital.<\/p>\n

We traveled 3 hours by yacht one way and 3 hours back to start this beautiful journey. La Esmeralda is one of the jewels of the Pearl Archipelago not only for its people, but also for having a really beautiful marine fauna. <\/p>\n

An excited community was waiting for us, happy to finally have the long awaited connectivity. La Esmeralda Educational Center was the point chosen to place the Antenna, an educational center with a student population of 135 students between 6 and 15 years old.\u00f1os. <\/p>\n

The impact that this connection generates in the educational community and in general, is not easy to perceive for those who do not live the complications of working or studying in places of difficult access, therefore, what we lived there this day, is very close to what we want as a company, to make an impact and positive change not only in these communities but throughout the country.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the efforts of a whole team, this became a reality and La Esmeralda is now just a click away from any corner of the world. #SOMOSUFINET<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
